Time for celebration, time to write again. The Democratic success at yesterday’s mid-term elections were a great surprise. And San Francisco had a good reason to celbrate. Nancy Pelosi, the first woman to become the Speaker of the House, is the representative of San Francisco.

And as if this was not good enough news, the unflexible President decided to listen to other folks than his vice-president by accepting the resignation of Don Rumsfeld.

The question now is if the Democrats will be able to hold the image (yes, the image) of ethical, clean and change-oriented officials that they promised. This will eventually allow them to run - or not - the country in 2008.
